Zoya BOGO

Oh, so, I guess I should post this here, since I made this blog so as not to bombard my lj flist with nailpolish posts. Zoya had a BOGO Summer Sale, which practically everyone that knows Zoya knows about so far. I decided to take the opportunity of $2 expedited shipping to get the few Summer colors I actually liked and some other colors I've been lusting for.

First of all I got the Mod Mattes mini sampler




It's soooo cute, isn't it? I really love the colors, even more so because they're mattes. I know that I can just make colors matte with a top coat, but it's never the same, y'know? Temptalia's review (the only one out by that point) said that they were incredibly streaky, which is why I got the sampler as opposed to the full sized bottles. I'm kinda regretting that already, but I've established the fact my nail polishes already tend to streak.

Then I bought 4 of the Sunshine colors using the BOGO sale:

I know some people are raving about how Kimmy and Faye look, but they look basically (from the swatches/bottles) like lower quality versions of colors that Zoya already put out and that I had liked a lot better. That's also the reason I didn't get any of the Summertime collection.

I did get some others I had been eying up for awhile, too. I figured the shipping was a good deal and Zoya is probably going to do there Trade-In promo soon-ish, so if I hate them I can still get rid of them. So that was Ki, Yasmeen, Suvi, and Kelly.

Also, I'm not kidding, I got at least 40 color spoons. It felt ridiculous doing it, too, haha. But that's $20 in my account for the next promo! And this way I can harass my friends by having them try out the colors, too, I guess.
